State Tournament Banquets

The Board of Directors of the MSHSSCA is happy to announce the 12th Annual State Tournament Banquet. This year the MSHSSCA is hosting banquets for teams and players in both Class A and Class AA. The intent of these banquets is to honor the State Tournament participants, the All STate and Honorable Mention selections and to introduce Mr. and Ms. Soccer for 2007. The banquets will also be coordinated with the area media to obtain maximum publicity for soccer prior to the start of the State Tournament.

The banquets will again be put on by the State Tournament Banquets and De Paul Lettering companies with the help of the MSHSSCA. Both banquets will be held at the St. Paul RiverCentre with the Class A Banquet starting at 12:30 p.m. and the Class AA Banquet starting at 6:00 p.m. We are planning on a combined attendance of over 2,000 players and supporters.

All coaches are invited and encouraged to attend the banquets. We plan to set up special tables for the coaches of non-participating teams.

Class A Banquet: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Class AA Banquet: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Ticket Cost: $18.00 per person
(Parking Limited: Minnesota Wild Game @ 5 p.m.)

Turf-Rat t-shirts must be ordered in advance. T-shirts cost $15.00. Order over 30 shirts and the cost is only $12 each. Add $2.00 for XXL orders.

One person should call for each team order and they should have a total for all players, coaches, staff, cheerleaders and parents from their school. Only one person can turn in money for each school, so please pre-collect. Call immediately for add-ons or deletions.

All state nominees not in the tournament with a team must call in their own reservations and pick-up tickets at least one half hour before the banquet starting time at the hotel.

All reservations and t-shirt orders must be in by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20. Please make checks payable to: S.T.B.
