Distinguished Service Award
The recepient of the MSHSSCA Distinguished Service Award has distinguished him/herself through their dedication to the game of high school soccer in Minnesota. This person has been invaluable in the further development and promotion of the game. Their actions behind the scenes and the many hours they have given to high school soccer is greatly appreciated by the MSHSSCA.
Guidelines for Distinguished Service Award
- Committed themselves to assisting and improving high school soccer in Minnesota
- Dedicated countless hours to high school soccer in Minnesota
- Made outstanding contributions to the organizations associated with high school soccer in Minnesota
- A letter of recommendation from a member of MSHSSCA
Selection
- Application is due January 1.
- A maximum of two awards will be given per year.
- The panel will consist of at least three Hall of Fame Coaches appointed by the Hall of Fame Coordinator.
- After the applications have been received, the coordinator will convene the panel to determine the recipient(s) of the award.
- If a nominee is not selected that nomination will holdover for the next year.
Awards will be announced at the August MSHSSCA general meeting and presented at the All-State Banquet each October.
